Zancott Recruitment works with companies across Australia, from SMEs to some of Australia's largest companies, to help them to achieve their diversity and inclusion goals. We help companies to contribute to economic parity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, by actively creating employment and upskilling opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Indigenous Recruitment Approach

Authentic engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at the community level to develop ongoing relationships. Many of our staff are of Aboriginal background or have social and familial relationships with local Indigenous communities.

Word of mouth and candidate referrals are our most frequent and reliable candidate sourcing strategies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We also source Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates through social media including the Deadly Jobs community Facebook page for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers, sponsored by Zancott Recruitment.

 

 

Indigenous Mentoring

When Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are placed into employment with Zancott Recruitment, we offer all employers and candidates access to our mentoring services to ensure ongoing retention. These services both support our Indigenous candidates, and help businesses to understand how to mentor and retain Indigenous talent.

Traineeships

Zancott Recruitment develops and implements Indigenous Traineeship programs to enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to access employment pathways to industries of growth.

Diversity Solutions

We know that many companies want to create a more diverse workforce. Diverse workforces are positively correlated with improved productivity, and innovation.
